    With fear and trepidation, I try V Beauregarde, a gift beer from my neighbor Tactical Bob...

    look: 3.5 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.25 | overall: 3.5

    Mildly cloudy, golden hued body; lots of carbonation; respectable head, foamy and white. Aroma of blueberry muffins. Well-balanced blueberry flavor intermingled with a tart sourness. Medium body; fizzy; acidic with a citrus tanginess.

    A decent sour, solid with a prominent but not overpowering blueberry presence. Okay if fruit beers are your thing.

    Not as bad as I thought it may be, but not my choice of beer. I drain poured most of it, not because it didn't fit its brewer's intent or style goal, but because it just ain't what I drink.

    I'll stick with coffee instead of blueberry...Fat Head's Bean Me Up (thanks to @micada for this one)...



    Brownish body with a nice head, creamy. Warm aroma of fresh ground coffee beans; faint whiff of alcohol. Excellent flavors of coffee and cocoa; mocha; excellent bitterness; grain husk char; semi-sweet. Medium-heavy body; soft and pillowy; some acrid dryness.

    An excellent coffee stout delivering a nearly espresso-like caffeine presence. Despite a slight scent of alcohol, it hides its booziness well. Tasty and bracing...

    Good morning, all! Having an early lunch because I have to go in on my day off to do some documentation and attend a recert training. I don't normally drink a lunch beer, but what the hell. I'm going with some semi-local world-class haze: Lion Bridge Corporate Mandate, a "hazy IPA" with a truckload of Citra, El Dorado, and Azacca. This stuff is straight-up delicious and dangerously drinkable. Cheers!
