I'm looking for recommendations for a good bitter coffee stout to have with my Thanksgiving pie. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I agree... KBS gets a lot of attention. Don't get me wrong, it definitely deserves it but I'm sure most beer fanatics have tried it a hundred times. My favorite beers are the ones that I enjoy and are also easy to obtain; with that in mind, the Kona Pipeline Porter is one of my favorite all time coffee beers. You can find it at most semi-premium grocery stores (We have Publix down here in GA and it's a regular in the beer aisle) for around $7.99/6pack

Yep. Beer Geek Breakfast is one of the best basic coffee stouts out there.

It's because founders makes a badass coffee stout.

And I wouldn't knock Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout. It's delicious.

That said, Peche Mortel is my pick. It's sooo damn good. :grinning:

Head straight to the weasel edition of Beer Geek Breakfast. The cat poop really makes a difference.

If unavailable, I'd then look to the regular BGB, or Peche Mortel.
