I like it if it warms. At anything even approaching cool, it tastes metallic to me. I had a few friends confirm it wasn't me. I didn't even tell them I got metallic as I didn't want to put it in their heads.

At about 55 degrees or so, it really comes in to it's own.

To me, Peche Mortel is the best you can get in this category hands down. It's worth a trade if you can find it at all.

not knocking anything, just saying there's more out there to be had, and a good 9/10 beer suggestions on here are either founders or bcb. switch it up a bit is all i'm saying.

As others have already noted, Alesmith Speedway Stout is a good go-to. Ballast Point Victory at Sea is an excellent, coffee-forward imperial porter. Or just about any rich imperial stout, infused with coffee-beans ought to do the trick. Pick up a bottle of Stone IRS, drop some 10 coffee beans in it, seal it with a bottle stopper, and it should be good to go in about 24 hrs.

Bingo. That stuff is addicting for coffee hounds and beer lovers alike...also a steal of a deal in 6 pack cans.

Definitely second the recommendation for both of these beers. Both are very good and the price point of Redband makes it a steal for the quality of beer that it is.
