More Brewing Co (2019)

Anyone able to provide insight into the DDH Double Space Boots can availability? I mean, I get the brewery is just a burning pile of dog shit since the ol’ Mighty Shaun left but I expected at least a post or two regarding this release, especially since the last time this was released it sold out in around 2 hours.

 

Still had cans around 7pm when I left.

 

Had a can yesterday and thought it was just as good as the last batch was. This time though you didn’t have to wait in a line of 100 people.

 

I agree. I probably should be happy that people aren't paying attention anymore. It did make it a lot easier to get the beer. Hopefully that trend continues.

 

Yeah the very initial skepticism was warranted but Eric Padilla knows what he’s doing

 

Hot take: just has a can of DDH Double Space Boots and it was better than the last time I had it. Great body, great fruit / bitter blend. Very nice beer.

 

Why can’t it be John knows what he is doing?

 

It can be. I won’t claim to know their inner workings.

But, I also felt like Eric on IG was posted as a major “free agent” signing. Getting into the realm of speculation, I just don’t think he would’ve left Corridor if he was doing so as a true assistant brewer. Nor would More want him to be in that role after showing his talents at Corridor.

 

It’s very possible More’s hazy offerings will improve with Eric in the fold. He filled Roger’s shoes well at Corridor and I think their hazy beers were better than Shaun’s at More. I thought Shaun made good hazies, just not as good as Corridor.

And then if Eric can continue building on his stout success (based on his great beer that won Stout Fest), things could be great at More.

 

Can someone create a talent / business flow chart, with Time on the X Axis, so that we can keep track of this?
