    Ran through Tenner, Kolsch, Polotmavy, and Altbier at the taproom yesterday. Tenner was delicious. Probably should have done a side by side with the Standard. The kolsch was probably the fruitiest kolsch I've ever tasted (in a very good way). You get a little of it in the nose, but it really hits you in the mouth. Polotmavy was fantastic too. Trail mix-y (nutty, raisin-y). Wasn't a fan of the Altbier, but that's about par for the course since I just don't really care for altbiers in general.

    It was. I found it to be quite similar to The Standard, maybe a bit hoppier.

    Also had Mahr's Pils and Coniston Bluebird Bitter. It was a good day.

    oh man The Mahr's is my favorite pils and it's been a long time since I've seen it. I work walking distance from deep elum, if it's still on Tuesday I'm walking down there

    I’d run there.

    They have a pretty killer list right now.

    Not Notch related but Coniston Bluebird is one of the best bitters I've ever had!

    Yes, yes it is awesome.

    What's not awesome is trying to find it fresh, and the not awesome price tag.

    I believe Notch does a bitter every now and then, it might be on cask too.

    Definitely spendy, but a rare enough sighting that made me willing.
    Never had Notch's bitter, but imagine they'd nail it.

    They do indeed brew a bitter, and it’s quite nice. It’s called Gates of the West. It’s only 3.9% abv which makes it even better. Actually it’s on tap at the brewery right now.

    I had the Voll Helles at the brewery last month and a can of The Standard this week. I was looking forward to both after high praise here but neither did anything for me. I'll stick with their Zwickel and Cerne Pivo and continue to miss the cans of their saison.

    @ChrisLohring

    Any reason all the events are on Sundays and not Saturdays?

    We have a shared parking lot, and Sunday is the only day we have full availability for beer and food serving, etc. We hold some events on other nights / days, but those do not use the lot (Kolsch night for example). Cheers.

    They tend to modify hours if it's a holiday, etc., like it is today, Patriots Day. Plus, it's Marathon Monday, which is a pretty big day here in Mass.
