It depends, naturally . Basically non-alcoholic is cheaper because there's no alcohol tax. But that's for big beer, craft and the like cost more. And I get in total around 50 different beers from the shops, then internet is and will be my friend, with the cost doubled by transport. So voted €/$50-100. At the moment I'm probably on the lower end of that.

I was in the $500 plus but I walked away around 3-4 years ago. Now for two of us it’s around 100-150. That’s for about 2-5 beers a night combined. I still stay right around $1 a can/bottle.

    Enjoy

I calculated at 5 founders centennial ipa per day at 19 dollars per 15 pack and was at 228 per month. I drink more expensive beer sometimes and drink less sometimes but that is the cheapest beer i drink pretty much.

Gonna admit; I did not get the memo that told us that drinking is now a hobby.

    Shrug.

A quick calculation puts me at about 400 a month. But I think that's probably low, and I'm afraid to actually check... :flushed:

My wife has never said a word about my beer spending, though I sense she isn't thrilled. She knows I would just threaten to take up fishing, hunting, or golf - which would be a lot more.

    Average $100 - $150.
If it’s something I stubble upon and it’s really expensive,I’ll pace up and down the isle, stare at it again and again, but eventually buy it.:stuck_out_tongue:

I average $20-30 a week so probably $100-$150 a month. The pints out and beercation muling home are what drive the average way up. Store bought daily drinking I stay under $20 a week. Helps That I can supplement a macro here and there and enjoy it.

I went with what the GF and I spend combined, which puts my choice on the high end. Per capita in our household - we're still on the higher end mainly because we have beers out fairly often. We'd each be about the middle of the bell curve for take home.

That’s me too. I love in an area that doesn’t have a great selection so when I go on trips it’s WAY more. But then I’m good for a couple weeks or so.

No, no - you misunderstand. "Drinking" isn't the hobby, "Buying Beer" is the hobby.

They only drink it to create room in the DBF or the cellar shelves to allow more beer to be bought. Unlike, say, the hobby of book collecting where one needs to continually buy or build more bookcases, that "turnover" aspect comes in handy.

No kidding. I am embarrassed to admit how much I spend. It's the breweries fault, they just keep brewing such incredibly delicious beers, it is hard to resist, and away goes your money.

I pity all the wallets of people local to The Veil next week.

The sheer volume of releases next week is mind boggling.

When I voted in the poll I counted what I drink at home and when we are out. I didn't count the 2 to 4 beercations that we take when I bring beer home or the special releases that I buy.

I don't really want to know! And I don't really want to see it in print!
