    My fiancé and me made it to the Rockets game last night. What a game! And thank you Clippers for prolonging your series vs the Warriors. Get some rest, Rockets!

    Morning brew/hair of the dog after I pounded beers last night - $3 beers before the game at the arena! Awesome job Rockets and Toyota Center.

    Cool, rainy day, I'm just gonna sit here and think about Spring . . .

    Clear light yellow color with white cap and lacing.

    Slightly tart lemony aroma.

    Taste is very mild, a bit tart, a bit of lemon as well, the word flowery keeps coming to mind. I don't really get grain or hops in any significant amount, just mild citrus with flowery touches.

    Foreign Objects' Mind Body Light Sound NEIPA (8% abv)...

    Solid NEIPA featuring two favorite hops, Galaxy and Mosaic, dry hopped as always with Foreign Objects... 1/23/19 canning puts this older than I'd prefer for a hoppy pale, but I'm not picking up anything negative about the beer - in fact, it's refreshing, and juicy without being too sweet - across the palate suggesting tropical, fleshy orchard, and dark citrus fruits; plush-feeling, but not without a clean edge of sharp fruit and pine... Really enjoyable (and that's with 3 months on it)...

    Happy birthday, Al Pacino - 79 today!!!

    Along with that other guy on the left, one of the greatest icons in acting - though in my estimation, Pacino has greater range than De Niro...


    These guys have a film coming out soon (Scorsese flick, no less)...

    look: 3.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

    Clear and bright medium gold colored body; lively carbonation; fair head, somewhat thin yet lasting. The smell comes across like an orange cream soda. Some indistinct fruity esters at first sip, slipping into a tasty vanilla edge, and finishes with a decent bitterness. Medium body; crisp and coarse on the palate; mouthfeel begins somewhat sweet yet finishes dry.

    This beer appears to represents the brewer's intent although the orange character is rather subdued. It has a nice wheat and biscuit malt component. I still feel my earlier description of an orange cream soda is pretty much spot on. A decent beer for what it is but not something I personally would go for again.

    Lumberyard's Flagstaff IPA



    This was another gift beer from my neighbor Tactical Bob and a step in the right direction (i.e., away from fruit-themed beers of questionable utility)...I've had this one before and still find it enjoyable...
