Hoping to make a potential June share again. Otherwise I'll just have to show up unannounced at @croush house and beat his kids in Mario Kart until I'm no longer welcome. Then I end up at @Quilentro drinking a bunch of bourbon I've never heard of, something about peyote, yadda yadda yadda, the next thing you know I wake up on some remote Japanese atoll sleeping on radioactive Fukushima reactor debris. Don't do that to me. TYIA.

Whew. Up-&-down here at the abode. On one Thursday afternoon earlier in April: The 1987 Chevrolet Sprint had its carburetor replaced; while motoring around to recycle aluminum cans and shop @ Binny's at Diversey and Pulaski, Pipeworks at Pulaski and McLean, and Off Color at Pulaski and Dickens; somehow the Sprint got a flat front left tire. Astoundingly, the 1987 Sprint was one of the last vehicles outshopped with a full-service fifth tire; but the tire that went flat was about one year old, and the tire which replaced it dates from 1996 {it was bought at Sears at Cicero and Belle Plaine!}. One tire shop later, the left side tires were shifted, and now I am looking for a new fifth tire.
Guess what? It [145/80R12] is as hard to find as some whalez.:whale: :stuck_out_tongue:
They are still being manufactured in China, and it looks like they fit some newer autos in India, Taiwan, and Japan. But to get one shipped from there to here... yeah, just like trading some whalez.
Anyhow - when we do have another bottle share, what I pulled out of the cellar today is
3 Sheeps Paid Time Off! - Imperial black wheat ale, 10% abv (2016)
Shmaltz & Terrapin Reunion Ale - Complex dark ale, 8% abv (2016):beers:

@Quilentro - you’re gonna have to do a lot of peyote and fight a lot of wolves while hitting on a Disney princess to top that post.

I mean, it's 2019. Why can't he be fighting Disney Princesses while hitting on wolves?

The can has "Lotus" printed on the bottom with the 04/15/19 date. Does that differentiate the beer in a way the date does not?
Either way, this was delicious. I don't remember the last time I had Ghost Tropic, but the 4/15 batch is much jucier and less green.

Yes. It’s a Variant. We will do variants of some of our core NEIPAs and type the variant on bottoms. This is Mosaic Amarillo and Lotus(instead of Chinook).

Some still left at brewpub as well as the new Snoochie.
