Go somewhere else for a month, then go back. If it still sucks, you have your answer..

You could always just act like an asshole and they will break up with you instead. Or, sit down at the bar with a growler of another brewer's beer and drone on about how you can't wait to get home to crack this baby...

I would bet the brewery is talking behind your back about how you’re social media attention wh*re constantly posting nonsense just for the validation of comments and clicks - soooooo it’ll probably be mutual - don’t sweat it. Have a beer.

Yep you nailed it. This all started because I got my feelings hurt when the brewers never responded to my recent MySpace friend requests...

My two cents as a brewery owner - send them an email and share your thoughts, privately. We always appreciate that at Night Shift. We might not agree with the feedback but we can't fix things we aren't aware are turning down customers. Many times we do take action on feedback so let the folks know!

Well, that's just too darn sensible. We prefer the volatile, superstar brewer who cares little for customers. This is even more true if the beer isn't really up to par.

Do you want to leave the beer, the people, or both? If you still like the people but don't love the beer not sure why you have to leave. How is the atmosphere of the taproom? Is that what's annoying? It's all just too vague.

I've always found that when I move on from people or businesses, despite their struggle and heartbreak, they eventually move on from me as well. It just takes a step to make it happen.

You won't miss them as much as you think, and vice versa.

I appreciate everyone's advice. Since the original post, I stopped going and have been trying out other places. Trying to convince the group to do the same, as I've really been enjoying the exploration. I've floated the idea to the group of meeting and doing shares of different brews, instead of going to the same brewery every weekend. No takers yet.....

Glad to hear that you are enjoying tapping some 'strange.' I'm sure your ex is talking shit about your insensitivity and disloyalty to her friends. I hope she will have you back when she ups her game Sandra Dee style (yes, I just brought Grease into this).

The best way to get over a bar is to get under another.

Go somewhere else giving them an opportunity occasionally. If they are really like family then be honest and give them some constructive criticism.
