Went to Moksa on Monday right at opening since it was a holiday.

I liked Dawnbreak better then Fluff Boys for the IPAs.

I did really like Moksa One. Coconut and Vanilla really worked. 15% was very hidden. This one was smooth.

Hit up Moksa today to check out their newest offereings. Tried Layers Throughout (on left)...not overly impressed with the hop bill (Strata and Idaho 7) on this one. 3-ply and Fluff boys still on tap...disappointed that I could not get either one in a crowler...

We literally hit almost all the same places this weekend.... but at different times....lol...

Went to Moksa on Sunday afternoon. Very crowded. Had the "Trail Dust" IPA. Comet, Amarillo and Nelson hops. Pretty good.

Was impressed with this collab with TOOL Brewing. Very well-balanced....transitions from slightly sweet to citrus to dank to bitter hoppiness really well...

The beer sounds like it'll be good. Hopefully they send kegs (doubtful) down to SF/East Bay at some point.

I gotta give you credit for the effort. How long do you think the wait's gonna be? I'm too jaded to be motivated to invest 1 hr of driving time (plus CO2 emissions) and then wait in line. I'll leave that to you young dudes.

It's going to be a shit show and probably going to have to get there early. Moksa is an easy 2.5 hr drive for me one way. Not looking forward to it.

I'm not a member, have a couple friends who are... Just heard that there are no bottles for the members, but they will be selling 2 per to the public.

Seems a little shitty. I'd be upset...

As a member I feel like I am ok with it this time if their bottle count is really that low. Not happy about it but they did say there might be times we don't get a pre-sale. But I hope they don't come out with some "archive sale" of an additional 300 bottles in 8 months like they did with Grasp of Darkness.

Lines for sap aren't even bad. They haven't even hit 500 limit max yet. Only around 250 so far.

Had a Cafe Olla (is that right?) at Urban Roots last night. Spiced coffee stout. The spice was nicely in the background, behind the coffee.

    Sold out eventually.

Still on tap at several places around town after "Sac Beer Week". Very, very sweet with the Maple.

Maybe bottles will be better? Lot of 4s and 4.25s on untappd, so not the huge early HYPE...haha...

Well, it was very fucking sweet..almost regretting buying two and should've just tried it on tap instead. I'd give it a 3.75 only because it was the best of the worst stouts on tap.
