What beer are you drinking now? #2383

Bayern Dump Truck Summer Bock Lager from Missoula. I've been drinking a lot of lagers recently, so I'm glad to have this brewery around, which focuses on authentic lagers and has a German head brewer. Very nice maibock, which is one of my favorite styles but very hard to find decent examples of.

At Gruff, having a Black Labs Lager. I like it.

 

Had to make a run to the grocery store for the wife because she’s meal prepping.

I found this canned on 4/17. I don’t drink this often enough. Used to grab a case when I visited Atlanta and brought it home. Now I rarely have it, good to rekindle an old love.

Two words: Billy Gibbons.

 

Excellent NEIPA. Great rocky head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, red apple, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough light toast/biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready malts and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 6.4%. Great Mosaic, Citra, Azacca, Amarillo and El Dorado profile. Very juicy and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balancing wheat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Really well made for the style. Bell's rarely disappoints.
