First off, is anyone going down for the bottle release? What are people most excited for? Nillerzzzz? Crema?

Did anyone go to other bottle releases? I’m hoping to head down and grab some bottles then be back in Minneapolis around 1pm. Anyone have any idea of how fast the lines move?

I was in line for Freedom Toast. I was near the end of the line because I got there shortly before they started moving people through. It moved very, very slowly - I honestly can't remember how long I was in line, but I know it was several hours.

In the past lines actually have moved pretty slow. They have a lot of different bottles and crowlers for sale at this release. I would expect it to take several hours to get through the line. Unless they have a different method/plan to expedite the line that is. I guess it all depends too on when you get in line.

Have headed down in the morning in the past & been fine. But as always, who knows this time. They do have more bottles, which should help.

And as two other just posted, the line can be painfully slow. One always hopes that a brewery can improve their processes over time, but...

For Freedom Toast I think we got there around 5am and were way early. Could've arrive at the time of sale and got bottles. I think since it's a double big bottle release I would try for 1-2hrs before. The line moves pretty slow but you can share so it helps pass the time.

It hasn't been necessary in the past to line up the day before, but there are always those (see above) seeking to drive hype..."better be line by 1PM on Friday or fuggedaboutit!"

Perhaps having two big stouts released at the same time plus a bunch of rotating stuff will drive a massive, early, unprecedented turnout. Or perhaps the release fatigue that's set in elsewhere will have its way with Forager, & you'll be able to show up at 10AM Saturday & still get your bottles (that's the way it was with the last Nillerzzz release).

If you MUST have these bottles, show up on Friday around dark. But anyone giving you a time window is just guessing, it's always a crap shoot for hyped releases like this.

There are ~450 bottles of the stouts. With a one bottle limit, you are probably safe showing up at release time.

I would say there is very little responsible drinking in line, most of it exceeds that point lol.

These few people will spend 20 hours waiting to get the same thing that people that show up at 9/10 tomorrow morning will get. I really don't get it.
