Canbif, Spring 2019!

Gotta love that green "Delivered" indicator finally showing up on the CP website. Hope they all survived the trip, Boney.

 

I was able to pick up a few things on the weekend, both new and old, and will be packing things up this week. I think I'll request a signature this time, as I don't trust the dude in Google street view.

 

My parcel has landed and a delivery notice was left as the porch was not nearly sturdy enough. A hint as the sending name is not my own, I don't sell Japanese crackers.

 

Should be able to ship in the next few days if things go smooth. Collected a nice representation of both local and International selections. Let the porch destruction begin!

 

I already had my suspicions based on the couple of clues he gave, but based on the two delivery pickup receipts I am now holding, @Ferris has moved up to my number one suspect. I missed the truck by minutes (work from home) and now I have to wait till tomorrow to know if my hunch is right or not.

 

Picked up my package today!

Kind of felt like Christmas morning once I got it home. Enjoyed opening it up and looking into a myriad of new to me beers. Definitely looking forward to getting into some of these once they're chilled.

So, my wife suprised me by picking up the box for me this afternoon. However, she didn’t tell me she did so until late in the evening, after she knew I was finished and had submitted our taxes (smart move).

I gotta say, Doc, that’s one hell of a killer box! A superb mix of styles and more than few huge suprises. I’ll snap a nice pick and post when I get a chance in a day or two, for posterity. Thank you so much. You nailed this Canbif!

 

I just got my box unpacked from @Ferris . A big, heavy ol' thing with some sours, some stouts and some IPAs as well as some very cool extras. Yes, that is a calendar of tasteful nudes.

I'm looking forward to diving in once they get chilled. Thanks, man!

Hint 3:
My box will land in the city that is a 3 hour and 26 minute flight east of me. The first rock concert I attended included Streetheart, The Headpins, and a band formed in this city. Good news - thanks to a fantastic new release, my box is up to the 8L mark. Bad news - I had to wait for the new release, so my box won't head out until tomorrow. I will packing it with love tonight.

Here's my box from TheDoctor! Not shown are a sweet fridge magnet and decal that will be making there way to the cottage this summer. I've had a couple of these beers before, but not in these vintages, so everything is new to me, really. Foam, Treehouse and Russian River were great surprises and Boreal and the Peche variants were huge wants, so big thanks to my generous sender and to Electros for organizing!

My target picked up their package today around 5:20 local time.

Really hoping that it all made it without any casualties and that you enjoy some of the pulls!

 

As per usual, no update from CP about my package actually leaving the lower mainland. Will be arriving on the east coast early next week!

 

Finished packing my box tonight, 36.2 pounds containing 13.1L. Will be sent tomorrow!
