This article serves as a nice reminder that I spend way too much money on beer and should probably try to drink what I already own before buying more.

This article is just more proof that clueless idiots equate craft beer with snobbery. Plus she's calling millennials that based on spending $65/month on beer, but then says men spend $66/month on beer in the very next paragraph. What a B.

I believe the purpose of the article was to generate some outrage. OK. I got questions for those people.

What the fuck is a Millennial? Are they any better or worse than hack journalists?

Why is Marketwatch writing about beer? We don't watch markets over here, do we?

What the hell is going on? Why can't folks just enjoy their beer in peace without having to be a goddamned statistic on a chart?

    Answer me that Marketwatch!

Thats a good deal for sure. The problem I've had with any rate is once the "taxes and fees" are added in, the total price increases by 50% ...

Making fun of someone for drinking something less hyped than TreeHouse makes you a snob. I get it all of the time from friends.
Spending at least $50 a week on good beer makes you an BeerAdvocate. LoL.

Here is a novel thought, we all work for our money and can spend it how we dam well please. Man oh man, I am growing sick of people in our current society acting as if those who have money and spend it are some new form of evil. No, we are hard working individuals who bust our butts all week to have a few nice things in life. We also support the local economy with our spending and thus help create and maintain jobs for others, etc. I am scared for my kids and the generation after them, seems like hard work is now the new evil...
Cheers and hey I am going to drop some coin on beer today, am I a snob, guess so. LOL.

I had no idea there were people who spent this little on beer. $60 is an afternoon at the brewery, not a monthly budget.

Please excuse me while I reevaluate my life choices.

A Virgin pay as you go plan. TMobile has a similar one.

    From the above site:

    Methodology
From March 11 through March 22 of 2019, we conducted an online poll of 2,000 Americans from across the country utilizing Amazon’s Mechanical Turk online platform. Respondents were a mixture of self-reporting males and females ranging from ages 21 to 70 who identified as people who drink alcohol regularly. This study does not represent a scientific sample. [italics mine].

Yeah I think mine is <$40 per line. T-Mobile family plan, with unlimited text, call, and data. They also tell you the outright price, and include fees and taxes so you're not duped.

I also buy a new phone every two years, just because I like to have new things.

And sure as hell spend WAY more than $60 per month on beer. Probably closer to $200-300 if I had to guess.

But I will admit I am a snob.

The family plans help. Right know my kids are way too young for that so its just my wife.
