    Good morning Advocates.

Drinking something I haven’t had in months. Almost forgot this was once a weekly treat for me. Tripel Karmeliet:

Have a nice Sunday BA. Today is my 9th BA anniversary. A lot of hard work and dedication over the years. Now the #1 site contributor and #4 reviewer for the site.

Amazing as always. Aromas and flavors of huge dark roasted coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, molasses, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, vanilla, cream, bourbon, toasted oak, roasted nuts, and dark bread; with lighter notes of coconut, licorice, raisin, prune, fig, date, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Light booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Mild herbal, roast, charred, coffee bitterness; and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, rich mouthfeel that is amazing. Light slickness, sticky hops, chalky roast, and oak tannins. Lightly increasing lingering hop/char/tannin dryness; no cloying/acrid flavors. Dangerously smooth, mild increasing warmth of 14.8%, minimal lingering booze. This was definitely better than the base beer for me. Perfectly balanced between rich malts, fruity/nutty coffee complexity, and bourbon barrel presence/integration; with mild fruity yeast and earthy hops against sweetness. Was definitely less bitter/charred/drying than the base. Still love both. Spot on style examples all around.

Amazing batch this year as expected. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy red raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, raisin, red grape, plum, pear, red apple, pepper, candi sugar, and toasted bread; with some herbal hops and yeast earthiness. Touch of banana/clove. Balanced fruit tartness and peppery yeast spice on the finish against malt sweetness. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp finishing. Some bready/grainy creaminess, fruit tannins, and lightly slick/syrupy in the mouthfeel. Good dryness from fruit acidity and yeast spice; never too sweet. Very drinkable, minimal warming 9.2%. Already got 4 packs. This shows great balance of Belgian yeast character, without just being a straight over the top fruit beer. Love Rubaeus too, this is basically just the imperial Belgian version. One of my favorite fruit beers of all time. I wouldn’t mind Cerise coming back either. Super jammy. Will keep buying more while I can.

Awesome batch this year as always. Lasting head retention/thick lacing the whole glass. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light peppercorn, and pine hops; with balanced caramel, toasted bread malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Amazingly drinkable. Super juicy and fairly dank/earthy Chinook, Centennial, Cascade hops; perfect bready malt balance, not overly sweet/heavy feeling from lingering resin dryness. I love C hops all year, the fresh hops are very obvious with the herbal/spicy quality going on. I keep grabbing more singles, this holds up amazingly over many months.

Incredible brown ale. Aromas and flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, cream, raisin, toasted oats, biscuit dough, and brown bread/crust; with light notes of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toffee, molasses, herbal/grassy hop, and yeast earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy bitterness and cinnamon spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very creamy, silky, velvety mouthfeel. Slight sticky hops, chalky roast. Slightly increasing lingering bitter/spicy dryness, no cloying. Insanely smooth, 5.5%. This was wonderful. Spot on English style. Very rich/well rounded malt complexity and balanced raisin/spice/lactose flavors; with restrained fruity English yeast and mild earthy hops against sweetness. Glad these finally hit the state this week.

Incredible as usual this year. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate honey, white bread, light caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, medium-full bodied, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter resin/rind dryness, no hop astringency. Amazing classic Columbus, Chinook, Centennial, Amarillo, Simcoe profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a great balanced malt backbone. Not overly sweet or bitter, extremely well balanced. Lightly boozy alcohol, but dangerously easy drinking. Never disappoints. Feels less sweet than last year. Also a lot easier to find when released. Have 1 left.

Some Sunday Hotbox here, as another 72 degree day looms on the Front Range.
Lots of work, however, to counteract that good news. -_-

Amazing NEIPA as always. Flavors of huge grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pepper/pine hops; with wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, grassy, zesty, citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; very creamy, bready, grainy wheat/oats, and light hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very dank/juicy hops, with perfect wheat, oat, malt malt balance. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness, amazing soft feel. Super easy drinking. Glad to have this as a year round available beer. This is one of my top most purchased beers ever at the moment. It just doesn't get any better for the style vs availability. Every Old Nation NEIPA is better than most anything else I've had in the state. DDH is just as impressive; but a bit more bitter, resinous, dank, and earthy. Got a ton of Strawberry now too.
