    Hi everyone,

Looking for suggestions for beers to place in my new dual tap home Kegerator. Thinking one may be something light and crisp, like a good Pilsner, and the other a bit darker, but not too dark for the summer months. Was thinking of a local beer called Dumaine Dupage for the second beer and maybe a Prima Pils from Victory for the Pilsner. I am able to stock two sixtel kegs. Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Thank you!

Prima Pils sounds great. For the 2nd option, try Guinness and learn how to pour it perfectly. Most bartenders in America don't do it right. Bartenders in Ireland would lose their shit if they saw people mistreating their sacred sauce like that.

I would roll with some local stuff if they have kegs that fit. I know my local guys always have seasonal beers fresh out and would be prefect for this setup.
    Cheers and happy Summer Drinking.

You don't need us for that decision. You're doing just fine. Trust in yourself.:beers:

Go Local and fresh or home brew. Forget everything else.

Don't put a nitro beer on. It's not worth the hassle of a second gas system and the special tap.

Since you're dealing with such small kegs, you'll be able to rotate things pretty regularly. Gives ya tha chance to get familiar with lots of different local stuff.

I tend to always prefer low to medium ABV beers in my kegerator. German hefeweizen, pilsner, pale ales, etc. And, as mentioned, my wife and friends like those beers too, so they move fairly quickly.

You just want to tell people you have a new kegerator. That's what this is about.

A dunkelweizen might be a good choice for a summer appropriate dark beer.

Prima is terrific as is Pivo, me being me my second keg would be an IPA. Pick a local favorite or something like a Two Hearted, it works for most.

Since you seem committed to Prima, why not start with that and HopDevil? Cheers!
