    I didn't just pour this beer, no. It literally jumped out of my fridge, danced on my counter, and hopped down to the man cave and demanded I have another. Who am I to argue? More Head Hunter for the head hunter. Cheers, everyone!!!

    Post Cinco de Mayo, so this is a little overdue. Taco Hands is a 7% Cellarmaker/Tired Hands collab IPA with Chile, Lime, spices and Tortilla Chips but the 2019 edition (canned 4/29) has a new twist: Double Dry Galaxy hopping.

    The taco'ish twist has always been subtle, but with the DDH of Galaxy, it becomes even more slight. As such, this tastes pretty more like a normal beer - I mean who can complain about Galaxy? But it kinda loses its identity a bit. My favorite version was from 2017, but this ain't too shabby.

    Camper clean out coming along fine, but hot! Inside apt. now cooling off with a very solid lager courtesy of @Number1Framer - “Milwaukee Day Lager” by Company Brewing, Waunakee, WI:



    Smells like a Strohs’ (which I adore); crisp clean with some lite hop bite; bready malt body, no DMS; quite pleasing this hot afternoon!

    This just hit the shelves here in ATL so I thought I’d give it a go for all of us. Only two ratings on this site so far, in fact that may not even be that right beer. So I’ll add this Strata version. I’ll compose a full review as I go through another can. Four pack was $12.99 plus tax. Canned 3/28/19.

    Oskar Blue — Steep Coast Strata

    First impression; aroma is a wonderful bouquet of passion fruit, stone fruit, peach, papaya maybe even some cannabis. Upfront a nice blanket of tropical fruit, peach, sweet malt on the palate. Nice body, definitely what I’d consider “smooth”, with enough hop bitterness on the finish. Noticeably more heavy than CanOBliss and touch sweeter. It’s a nice addition to lineup. Would I buy another pack at the price point, maybe not— I’d lean for more ‘Bliss. But I wouldn’t turn it down. Worth a try advocates!

    ***Also noticed on Oskar Blues website there appears to be a “hazy” version of Can O Bliss and a citrus version as well coming this summer.

    This is Northern Monk Patrons Project 17.01, a triple dry hopped IPA. It’s my 30th beer from this brewery, and I think the best so far. Actually, it’s one of the absolute best European NE IPAs I’ve had. Amazing stuff!
