Hint #2 - Just in case it wasn't obvious, I'm not shipping East either
Hint #3 - Both the National Football League and Major League Baseball are represented by exactly one team from my target's state
Hint #4 - 1 of the teams referenced in the previous hint is in the American League or Conference, the other is in the National League or Conference
Hint #5 - 4 states are still left as possibilities for my target's home, although not all are necessarily represented in this BIF round

Hint #6 - 5 people left was my intention, because my first two hints were really referring to the PRIMARY direction. But while I inadvertantly DID eliminate three other targets, other folks have narrowed it down correctly. So much for my effort to troll @NJB145

 

I figured that you would have the exact latitude of everyone’s address in a spreadsheet.

 

If we didn't have over 80 people, I'd consider it. I'm usually not that ambiguous about my clues, either, except I was trying so hard to use your username. I had another great clue that wouldn't have eliminated you either, not sure if I'll bother at this point :-)
