As someone who has King Sue as their avatar, please tell me you at least taste Citra in BOM?

 

Guilty as charged. Then you may like this more out of the gate vs giving it a couple weeks to mellow. I think I may be picking up on the Simcoe? Try for yourself and let us know!

 

Haven’t had regular BOM in awhile so will report back in the next couple of days. Having Orange Chantilly now and it’s good. Lots of vanilla and orange and hoppy though I would’ve been just guessing the two hops based on other beers. There’s like a 10 second lingering finish of the orange with some vanilla here that I can imagine will be polarizing (and maybe temporary this fresh)

 

they only posted two drops on twitter. i assume it hit a lot more locations and they just neglected to update their feed.

 

Check tweets and replies next time as they started a tweet @Binny’s. So they did Beer Cellar, Binny’s Schaumburg, Orange and Brew, BJ’s Oswego. All of those were on twitter. My Plainfield buddy said Iron & Glass got it though that one didn’t make twitter

are the beers worth the hustle to get? i missed their first round of drops and with the MORE lottery and HB drops tomorrow I may be throwing my money in that direction.

 

I would say Orange Chantilly=BOM at least roughly. Either scratch the same itch. Low Ceilings is excellent. It’s like one of the better Hop Butcher beers or Squeeze It/Murky Waters. You’ve had this beer before (Citra and Mosaic) but it’s a strong example of it

 

I opened a Protocol tonight thinking it couldn’t be that bad. Holy moly....not good. I now feel awful for putting a can of this into a package for my friend in San Diego.

 

Well they’re old now, so what’s the point.

 

Yeah it took me over 30 minutes to get home, so down the drain they go.

 

Damn Chicagoland traffic. Ruins the beer hobby.

Warehouse just posted that city deliveries are expected tomorrow, so it looks like we wait one more day. I thought they would be hitting the city today...or maybe I was just hoping they would.

 

Looks like I'll be carrying a lot of beer around at BUG with this, stopping off at the dojo before BUG and a few cans that a mate is bringing

 

I see Phase Three is updating on Twitter as they drop off their beer at different stores. I don't know what the benefit of that is, other than to truck chasers. Just really trying to drive up that hype and demand because unless you run to that store right away! you won't get any.
