What beer are you drinking now? #2393

Another new odd Evil Twin IPA. This was excellent. Great rocky head retention/spotty soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big lightly tart/tangy black currants, mint leaves, mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, and light peppercorn/pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Hint of cooling mint. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy, silky, bready malts; light sticky hops and fruit tang/acidity in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/tart/tangy dryness; no cloying/astringency. Super smooth/soft, minimal warming 8%. This was weird, but it works. Feels like mostly Citra. Super juicy hops/fruit, with light dank/earthy mint; and a great balancing wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Grew on me through the glass. Not overwhelming on any aspect. 4
