As a first timer arriving around 3pm, this gives me hope to trying some variants.

 

As a first timer, this thread has been a great resource for myself and the two other first timers I am going with. The "sharing with people who didn't bring anything to share back" will not be a problem with my group thanks to this thread. I gave them very strict orders to bring slightly over the max oz limit of beer and to be ready to share it among complete strangers.

We also played rock/paper/scissors for who has to get the Uber ride back. I lost. RIP to my Uber rating.

 

Question for the vets. Babybirding the rarest of the rar - embraced out in the open or should my group keep this on the DL? Asking for a friend. TYIA

Either works. There are a lot of us FIBS, but only jerks scoff at BCBS or Deth. I would just try to avoid the IL shelfies if you're worried about it. That and you are bringing some cover for them.
