I'm not sure they can, even if they'd like to.

Point to the place on the doll where the Brut IPA touched you...go ahead...no shame...we are here to support you and help the healing process along. We can get through this.

I'd say bell-bottoms or no socks with alligator loafers. Or oak-aged IPAs.

I would support your position OP if it meant that Founders would stop dicking around with their barrel aged program and supply their bourbon barreled imperial stout to the masses.

I like all styles of good tasting beer

Enjoy the variety that you have now whenever you go to a brewpub or a bottle shop

I would be against writing off any style. To be honest my tastes always change so what I dislike today I may find I really enjoy down the road. I am all for variety, it opens the door for more people to get into beer because they may find a style they like, etc.
    Cheers

I don’t like Milkshake ipas, or Black ipas for that matter. I’d like to see more BA ipas, though.

Even those styles are under siege across the pond

Are black IPA still a thing?

Don't get me started on style proliferation and the weekly threads suggesting that beer xxxxx justifies adding yet another new style. Just don't. :grimacing:

Never said folks can't drink what they want, even if it's ugly, bland, unimaginative, and lazily made.

OP asked for opinions, not sorry mine hurt your delicate feels.

The hazies are also starting to wear on my palate. Thank goodness there's an IPA around like Two Hearted, and other more classic IPAs.

Just take a few days off. Have some bourbon or single-malt Scotch and reset your palate. I'm back for a few beers this evening after a couple of weeks off, and I'm drinking a pale lager right now that's blowing my socks off. Bottom line: They're all good. Drink what you enjoy, and enjoy what you drink. :beers:

Me too, kinda a nice latching onto WC IPA over the Milkshake crap.

Personally, as a fan of what is essentially a overtly hopped roasty nutty dank dark beer, I'd actually love to see more of the style. The rye in the Wookie Jack might have turned some off to the style but there were other better versions out there that nailed the balance between the styles. Hater's gonna hate I guess

The OP question is more asking about individual dislikes, I didn’t read the thread to be any deeper than that.

There is a bit of irony in that Two Hearted is an unfiltered, sometimes “hazy” IPA.

You mean Radlers that have been around in the old country for years?
