Follow up from a previous entry.....for DL day veterans.... I'm wheelchair bound due to recent injury...do I have to wait until 9 am to enter through the handicapp entrance or you think they will allow wheelchair entrance through the main gates from 6am on?

 

Should be arriving around 8 am. Black jacket likely in the am and bourbon country black t-shirt in the pm. Will have a knit shark hat on for as long as I can bear it and switch over to an umbrella hat in the pm heat. Looking forward to sharing some beers and meeting some folks. Cheers!

 

Do you actually have to 'activate' the wristband online or will it scan scan day of without doing that?

 

You only need to activate it if you plan on linking a debit/credit card to it for cashless payment use during the fest. If you are ok with paying for merch/food/beer/etc via credit/debit card or Apple/Samsung/Google Pay you do not have to activate anything.

 

No, but sometimes your cell service can be spotty at big events like this. Better to have it saved than mess with loading the website over and over.

 

I spent a good chunk of time at the table last year. If you set up shop tomorrow, I'll happily swing by with heavy pours.

 

No reply here? Its blank? No worries....I actually have a scooter and plan on going through the handicapp entrance after 9am. Scooter will be better vs wheelchair. More mobility with my hands/arms.

Okay - somebody save me a spot under the tent, preferably at a table with padded cushions, near the music side so that while I can hear and enjoy it, it’s still not too loud to drown out conversation. Also, should be near a clean porta-pottie, have decent access to the food and beer lines, an outlet nearby so that I can plug my floor fan in - I don’t want to get too hot, plus I like that gentle breeze while sipping on some BAA (‘15 version if I had my druthers, but I’ll settle for ‘16). I like to put my feet up, too, so if you could make this spot near a walkway that isn’t overly-crowded with the masses so they’re not constantly tripping over my legs, it’d be much appreciated.

I just passed Sacred Reich’s RV on I-94 near Battle Creek. The dark lord is upon us.

 

We’re not getting there at gate open this year so we may not get a table but I’ll check in when we get there. Let’s definitely hoist a few.
