They’re pretty tight with the dudes from Warehouse Liquors so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the list.

From the sounds of it, LZ is not one of the 5 places.

However they said Curvature will be released what sounds like more frequently than Hennas were, and the distro locations will vary from release to release

"LZ is not one of the 5 places". What??? That's where they brew. So you're telling me that even though they brew out of Lake Zurich, and have sold every release thus far on site + distro that now all of a sudden for a stout release, purchasing a bottle on premise/on site is not even an option??? If so, that makes zero sense. Talk about just feeding the hype machine and the chase.

His stout releases bring out the shitshow dark underbelly of the Chicago craft beer scene.

LZ was kind enough to let him brew out of their place. They probably don’t want that and he probably doesn’t want to subject them to that.

    But get mad.

Even if they did release out of LZB there’s an absurd amount of hype and chase. I doubt you’d be able to mosey on in and grab a bottle if LZB is a location. Their first stout is gonna be a zoo no matter how/when/where this was to be released. Let let the neckbeard zombie horde waste their weekend on FOMO.

Looks to be a decently warm weekend. Time better spent outside enjoying life

Time to open the sunroof, roll the windows down, and chase some self-distro trucks

Distro kinda seems like an odd way to do this...the smaller places will be almost impossible to get. Especially if they only get a few bottles...why not do it the old fashioned way by using a line or just make it a lottery...a lottery you can't be mad at cause it's random...chasing a truck like an idiot is just stupid

Congrats to the 50 people who get this bottle and resell it for 150 bucks!

Yeah problem is that all these shops probably had lines already there before this post dropped because the stores and their friends know, but no one else does. Not a fan of surprise drops. Just tell us where the beer will be so it's not about having connections with the store owners.

What an annoying way to do a release. Make people glued to their phones all weekend and then make you sprint somewhere randomly last minute on a Sunday morning. I’m way out.

Unless you live within a few minutes of these places they would probably be sold out before you got in your car.

Beer Cellar sold out. Looks like it was gone within about 30/35 minutes.
