Was tempted to go because the beers are killer. But I felt like the 8pm GOT was in jeopardy with that line movement

We left after about an hour in line. Realized that it was going to be at least another 2 before we got any bottles. It was worth a shot stopping on the way home from DLD.

Overall this was fairly well done. Starting members late caused the rest of the line to get in late. Then once you’re inside you basically are going from line to line in order to pay for bottles, get a pour, get your bottles picked up.

Their space may have now outgrown this event opposed to a few years ago when it was just a beer release with a couple one offs on tap. Highlights were Smuckley, S’mores, Canuckley, Kentuckley.

Priorities. I haven’t left my house since Friday for the simple fact that anything could happen before then and 8pm tonight.

Just stopped by 10 min ago. Canuckley and kentuckley were the only barrel aged left. No to go line. Short line if you plan on staying.

Man, all the others are gone already? Looks like last year was the outlier.

I mean those are still really damn good beers to just be able to walk up and grab them. This was my first time at this event and I thought it was very well ran compared to a lot of others. I will be back.

Someone was kind enough to pour me some Canuckley at Dark Lord Day and it's in the conversation for best beer I had all day. If I lived closer I definitely would have considered swinging by to grab some.

Canuckly was my favorite beer last year so I went back for it. They make an amazing beer, but they are terrible at running this release.

4 hours to get through the line. Still a disaster.

Walk up and grab, if you happen to be driving by on Sunday evening. Sure they are good, but I have to draw the line somewhere and $20+ for 500 ml is over the line. Add in the lines and there is no way I was going anywhere near this today.

Uckleys are awesome, line is brutal. Price? High, but still lower than most BCBS variants if memory serves me right. Michiganders would mop up $25 BCBS variants, just too bad we don’t get any.

Showed up at 3:00 today. Waited about 60 minutes.

Limits for BA beers had been chopped by the time I got beer at 4:00.
    2 Kentuckley
    1 Canuckley

Rest were gone. I think DLD increased the crowds significantly. I hope they do some things to speed up the bottle lines in the future.

We got our two reserve cups mixed up. So I don't know which it was, but one of the reserves was absolutely dynamite.

Curious what time some of the first people in line got there?

Highlight of the day was when they stopped the “one off” draft line to set up an additional plywood based table to, as Chris stated, “pound through pours to get the line moving faster,” and then the extra employee just stood there reading the bottle labels. Solid efforts all around.

Reserve 2, S’mores, and Kentuckley were my favorites of the day. Juice is Loose and Needs More Dog we’re both great as well.
