    Good morning, BAs! Rare that I get to start this thread, but it's been a very early day for me, as I already knocked out a 5 mile run (turns out it's still humid as hell!). Now having breakfast with the baby.

    As we look forward to the upcoming Memorial Day weekend, I hope many of you have plans - like I - to visit family and friends. Please take a moment between now and Monday to reflect on the meaning of the holiday: those who have lost their lives in battle.

    Good morning all. Today’s coffee is Epic’s SOB Coffee Stout with Cacao Nibs:



    Nice roast bitter coffee with a touch of chocolate...Hot and humid on the boards for today; not sure what we will do today, but tonight we go downtown for a concert ( and maybe a beer at Easy Tiger :grin: ). Cheers from Buda, TX!

    Or was I’m pretty impressed by this one it’s an IPA very reminiscent of Epiphany by Foundation.

    Deep, dark brown body with a thick, lasting head, rich and creamy. Excellent aroma blending rich milk chocolate, roasted and charred grain, and some sweet vanilla. The taste mirrors the smell; rich and chocolatey with a split combination of sweet vanilla and mild boozy presence. Heavy body; smooth and silky; lots of residual sugar feel; sweet mouthfeel throughout.

    A rich and decadent stout with a strong and sweet cacao and vanilla punch.

    Mikkeller has always been a hit or a miss... The first beer ive had from them was carton of haze and it was glorious.. After that I tried every mikkeller beer I could get my hands on whether it was from Cali or overseas. 2 out of every 10 were exceptional.. They just produce too many different beers and focus more on gimmicks than brewing consistent good beer
