Bocks. Not double bocks, not maibocks, just bocks. Single bocks (aka traditional bock).

Yeah, people make them. Just not enough of them.

EDIT: I'm going to take this a step further.

English Pale Milds. Dark milds seem to finally be making a bit of a surge as of late, which is great, but I still haven't seen a Pale Mild.

English Bitter....see above. My local spot Tonewood put one out recently (I missed out-- typical me) but aside from that, name me one English Bitter that can be (relatively) easily purchased at the liquor store. I challenge you.

English Pale Ale...this one is a bit of a strectch. The truth is we've all killed the old English-ale-inspired microbrew places from the 90s (ringwood yeast especially), now nobody wants to brew the traditional style it seems. I can't think of a local brewery (aside from Zed's Beer) that makes a classic English Pale. Unless you live in CO and have easy access to Hogshead; we need more.

Stop turning everything into hop tea for fucks sake.

    Rant over

Don't get me wrong, I'm totally with you with regarding ESB as a brand and not a style. Having said that, since you said "no other UK brewer," I thought I'd share this with you (not that an exception invalidates your position). You'll have to scroll down:

Agree on the pilsners, but didn't come to mind because around here in chicagoland lots of breweries have brought them back, especially for summer, and I love it!

I homebrew my version of Everett every year so that is something for you to consider - homebrew an Everett.

My other favorite commercial Porters are from Founders, Bells and Great Lakes.

    Cheers!

That beer does hit hard! Anytime I need a good night’s sleep, I drink a bottle of that. Better than Nyquil!

One that hasn't been mentioned yet: I'd like to see more places put out an IPL (India Pale Lager), something that I try whenever I see a new variant. Prefer them exponentially to another watery session IPA that becomes a shelf turd.

A true Vienna Lager- Off hand I can't think of a brewer who makes this style. There are probably a few- Brooklyn lager used to call it a "Vienna style", but they changed that also. If I am patient until Octoberfest beer rolls around that is close enough-

Another vote for brown ales and rye beers.

I'm pleased that, at least in our area of the PNW, you can get fine lagers year-round.

I see so many people saying Pilsner, Rye PA, EB (ESB) and Bocks that I know I am in the right place. More of this please.

My lupulin tolerance is becoming so bad that I ate chinese bitter melon the other day and laughed at my friend gagging and choking on the bitterness while I chomped away enjoying it like nothing.

    Cheers!

Pretty much anything English style, specifically IPAs, ESBs, and Dark Milds, plus some new Stouts and Porters (not imperials). Wouldn't mind more Black IPAs either.

I'd also like to see more breweries branch out and explore Sour IPA's and mixtures of styles, I for one would rather drink some wild, interesting stuff than average beers. Cape May Corrosion is probably my best example!

Definitely Black IPAs, and Rye IPAs. Red ales, English Barleywines, more kolsch, and Oud Bruns

Kind of related to this, we had a local brewery joke on april fools that their next big beer release was going to be a kvass. Though I am not as familiar with the style I was excited that it was something different before realizing what day it was...
