Took Day 4 from @Kramerbarthomer to a share with @PassMeAZima. It’s a black waxed bottle with a Weldwerks stamp on the top. I have an idea as to what this one is and I was pretty excited.

Unfortunately, someone at the share went ahead and unwrapped it before I could do a blind pour, so my hunch was confirmed right away.

Weldwerks Rye Medianoche! This might be the most rye forward beer I’ve ever had. It’s a really good beer but it came later in the share, so it might have suffered because of all the other heavily adjuncted stouts we were drinking before it. I’ve got a couple ounces left in the bottle so I may try it later on and see what it’s like with a clean palate.

    Thanks, Doc!

Update: This tastes much better without a bunch of crazy adjunct heavy stouts around it.

Day 4 from @JasonR1975 was sour as anything. The fruit had some sweetness to it. I guess mango. I was correct. This was tasty but it was tart!

    Day 3 from @core42
Went with the 15% adjunct stout
    [IMG]
Pours crazy thicc. I’m terrible at guessing stouts, but, a plain black cap makes me think Transient. This beer is crazy sweet, at first I thought coconut, but once it warms it’s definitely maple. I know it’s not a Buckley variant (those are 12-13%). Digging a little deeper on untapped and I see a 15% stout called velvet sea that’s aged in bourbon and maple syrup barrels. That’s gotta be it.
Nailed it. Drank about 12oz, went into a diabeetus induced nap for 30 minutes. Then drank the rest. Just like in all the Buckley variants the maple in this is really nice. Not the slightest bit artificial. Thanks Jeff.

Day 4 brings a new brewery to the table, Walking Tree out of Vero Beach, FL. This beer is why I love our BIF’s. I’d never heard of this brewery and because of that wouldn’t have sought this one out. But Mr. @valrxman decided to share this one and I’m glad he did. Thanks Steve!

I worked all day yesterday so I’m hitting Day 4 today. I saw a plain black top and grabbed the #properopener just in case. This pours motor oil black and thick. Minimal head. Nose is all bourbon. Holy shit- the bourbon! Taste is the same! Wow- just fantastic barrel here. I don’t get any other adjuncts. I’m only familiar with the -uckley stouts from Transient, and so I’m guessing it might be one of those.

Neckbeard Nectar!! This beer fits the name. It’s a fantastic sipper. I love me some McKenna bourbon as well. Great selection for day 4! Thanks, @NJB145!

@azuelke is trying to give me diabetes today. I’m pretty sure this is Dark Lord from whatever year the wax was silver.

    Day 4 from @vitaminvert...
This time it was blue wax stamped with WeldWerks. The last 3 days were Medianoches, so I figured this one had to be too. Like the last 3 days, it poured a thiccc, dark brown/black. Immediately I saw coconut floaters and knew this had to be Coconut Medianoche...

It was in fact Coconut Medianoche!!! OMG this beer effs. Can you say that here?!? Aromas of chocolate, dark roasted coffee, bourbon, sweet vanilla and coconut. The aromas carried over to the taste of the beer...so balanced. This beer is legendary and I am such a lucky man to be drinking it. I've died and gone to heaven. I didn't deserve this, Andrew. Thank you, buddy! You are the man!!! A separate picture so you can see it in all its glory...

Day 5. Feels like a 750 mL bottle...

Once again. Pours Jet black. First sip. Immediate thick AF body. Makes me think 100 % Trillium again. It's gotta be. Its quite sweet. Tons of chocolate. Maybe there's some other adjunct there? Maybe some vanilla? Maybe a little peanut butter, i'm not entirely sure about that.

Looking through their list on untappd, I'm thinking this is either Vanilla Truffle, Chocolate Goodness, or maybe Peanut Butter Cup. I'm really not sure either way. Let's find out.

Definititely got more chocolate from this one that anything else. Assloads of chocolate. Freaking delicious. Thanks so much again @Mikexw!! ... I may be double dipping again and wrapping this up a day early later, we'll see. Cheers!

Day 5 brings a speciation sour. Pours a beautiful deep red. Tons of funk with some wine barrel fruitiness. Taste is hard to pin down. Maybe rhubarb? Could be berries. But not cherries or raspberries.

Hopeful Monster with black currants! They definitely come out more as it warms.
Another great beer from @NJB145! Cheers!

    Missed posting Day 4 properly

So, opened up a what was fairly sure was a Casey bottle. Opened up with cherries but there was some other things going on. Most importantly delicious.

I figured some kind of funky blender and I nailed the cherry but definitely missed the other two fruits. Damn I loves me some Casey.

    Thanks @robgage

Sweet baby barrel! There is definitely some barrel aging in this one. Barrel, oak, chocolate, and roasty goodness. I have No idea what that could be.
21! @UcDru I've had alot of these CW anniversaries and this has a bunch of barrel. Haven't had this years release and glad you thought I should. Will be looking for 1 of these to age..... back off Locals

Day 5 from @Kramerbarthomer brings a stovepipe can.

Pours thick and dark. Nose is peanut butter, vanilla and chocolate, in that order. This beer is sweet as hell. And I dig it. As I sip, the vanilla comes out more.

Based on a couple of the extras I got, I figured this was either a Ten Fidy variant or something else from Weldwerks. Not getting any barrel, so I doubt it’s a Ten Fidy, plus I don’t think they canned a Peanut Butter variant as of yet. I’m gonna guess Weldwerks Fluffernutter.

Nailed it again. This is great. Thanks, Doc!

On to the penultimate day which brings another non-descript black cap
    [IMG]

The pour is motor oil black and nearly as thicc. There is also no head present (story of my life). The aroma is pretty much dominated by the barrel as well as the flavors. I feel like that I’m getting a faint coffee, but that may be because I’m trying to find an adjunct. Not going to bother to try and guess this one.

Even after the reveal, it took several seconds to figure the brewery...it was Three Chiefs DOS!!! An awesome new brewery tick for me! Thanks again @Sassyshe888

Day 5 from @valrxman Def 3F, purple cap. Not familiar with that one. Pours an awesome purple/dark red. Nose is cherry or raspberry. Tart on first sip but not overly so. Great balance of funk and fruit. Reveal to come.

And the reveal.....good Lord this is insane. By far the best cherry wild/lambic I’ve ever had. I usually get at least a slight medicinal flavor with all things cherry, but none here. Can’t thank you enough for this one @valrxman for this one and a great box!
