Damn. saved this from the awesome BA @WesMantooth. Just a classic. I love this.

 

Haven't had Edmund Fitzgerald in at least 2 years. Coming back to revisit it I can see why people regard this so highly. It's flippin' awesome.




And my creole (crawfish smothered fried chicken with rice, and maque choux.



Best part? They put the extra crawfish I ordered in the sauce instead of a cup of sauteed crawfish, so they went ahead and gave me a cup of crawfish anyways! Win win!

New Odd Sides Radler. This was awesome. Aromas and flavors of big ruby red grapefruit juice, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bready malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness; and citrus tang/tartness on the finish. medium-plus carbonation, light-medium body; and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and citrus acid/tang in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing bitter/tart/tangy dryness; no hop/fruit astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, not watery for 3.8%. Awesome balance of vibrant grapefruit and juicy/dank/earthy Citra hops; with a nice clean pale malt backbone for the ABV. Minimal residual sweetness from crisp dryness. One of the best I've had in the style.
