Pace should be out of GM of the year running for not cutting Parkey earlier in the season. They had a complete team on two sides of the ball with the only weakness preventing them from winning it all being the 2nd worst kicker in the league. How did they not cut him in the season? I get that the other free agent kickers probably aren't much better, but damn, Parkey had his chance this season and showed he couldn't cut it time and time again. Stats don't lie.

The worst taproom in Chicago. Maybe just me but I never have luck with that place. It’s always too damn packed. Just way too small

I tried to give this place another shot on a rare night out last night. Friend arrived first, and reported a long line with no movement.

Blah. This place. I will stick to once in a blue moon crowler runs on off hours.

Thought Pillowy Mellows and Threat By Simcoe were both overly sweet. Between that and how tiny and crowded that taproom is, I can't say that I want to go back any time soon.

It was very good, nice and balanced, definitely tasted 'silky' as they claim in the description. With two of the best in the business at this style, the collaboration did not disappoint.

Maplewood became my favorite brewery over the weekend. I had three of their beers that absolutely blew my mind:
Mr Shakey Strawberry: the softest, most delicious milkshake IPA I've ever had. It was like a strawberry version of BO.
Cuppa Oreo: literally the best pastry stout I've ever had. Waves of cookie flavor, little bit of coffee, and so much frosting on the backend. Liquid oreos.. what a treat.
Fizzle Drizzle Key lime: maybe my first example of a pastry sour? I'm obsessed. It was like drinking a piece of Key lime pie, so much graham cracker crust flavor on the end. Amazing.

    I love Maplewood

This story comes full circle if you tell us that you had a piece of pie at Maplewood that tasted exactly like an American Lager.

Have to second the positive reviews for Fizzle Drizzle. Super tart, yet also get the sweetness of graham cracker. It's really well done for the style.
