Wasn't the entire eastern seaboard supposed to be underwater by now? I was looking forward to that.

Got me to wonderin'. So, I looked at "Notable Members by Posts", wondering if he might still show up. A lot of familiar names near the top. Also, seems as if I am significantly chattier here than I am in real life: https://www.beeradvocate.com/members/?sort=posts

Ya my guess is an honest reassessment of one's life might lead one to back away from a beer forum

And, wasn't he a brewer/worked at a brewery? Maybe "Above" asked him to chill?

Oh, no. Nope. Uh-unh. Ding is much better spoken, and more reasonable.

Hmm I don't remember that, but at his rate any number of folks in his life may have asked for a cooling

He was from Pittsburgh, I had a sneaking suspicion he worked for Southern Tier. But there are also a bunch of other places in the area.

I'm originally from Upstate NY, and the hints he dropped led me to think he worked at a small brewery in the Southern Tier. So, working at Southern Tier isn't an unreasonable surmise.

The current rise in temperature exactly mirrors what happened 1000,2000 and 3000 years etc ago. The Romans grew grapes in the North of what is now England. In between temperatures fell sharply and there were mini ice ages. What we are experiencing now was entirely predictable.

And somehow that still seems like it doesn't cover how present he was

In looking at the list, I noticed that other than Jason and Todd (1996), nobody else's start date goes back further than the early 2000s. I wonder if there was some sort of data loss/reboot or whether there really isn't a single person left from those earliest days?

He did not work for a brewery, he was just a home brewer.

Hey, did the entire Great Barrier Reef also die off 1000, 2000, and 3000 years ago?

    Great Caesar's ghost!

And I thought I was wasting too much of my life on this site. It appears my current lifestyle is not nearly dissipated enough! I'm going to get to work on some important and novel thread ideas straight away to get that post count moving. How's about Favourite Bottle Shape? Has it been covered?

Regarding the late, lamented EvenMoreJesus, I always enjoyed his participation. He ‘laughed’ at a couple of my jokes which is the surest way to my heart.

That said, his support for the idea that a person can and should drink the same beer more than once is, of course, ridiculous and untenable.

No one is perfect I guess, even more Jesus... hang on a minute!
