Thank you for an awesome 6 days, @vitaminvert!!! I had only 2 Medianoches before this week and now I’m thoroughly impressed. Well, this round was a dandy. Thank you @dannyfayy for demolishing my wishlist. So many highlights. Here is a killshot.



You may notice there is some Cali Cotton left over. I decided to save a little for our fearless leader for the next time he decides to visit. It was a great line up. My first Pips Mead, I’ve had very few Weldwerks brews and they did not disappoint, and I even got to try a local beer that seemed impossible to get. Thanks buddy!

Black cap ... Transient ? Some barrel... Lots of vanilla, cinnamon and graham cracker. Has to be BA No Cake... big time wishlist bottle after seeing a lot of these get sling around during 12dox.

What an awesome 7 days. Some big time wishlist bottles. All great beers and all new ticks. Personal favorites were the Speciation - incipient with apricot / peaches and red wine barrel and the Fremont B3K. Thanks so much Jeff !!!

I'm late posting but wasnt late drinking...sorry for the delay @MTKATL !



A little birdie told me there would be another el cat bottle in this 6er so I grabbed PGW for day 6... 2 barrels on the wrapping label and a lack of adjuncts on the nose palate led me to believe this was a DB zhukov variant. On the palate some dark brown sugar and caramel notes lead me to believe this is double enlightenment ..


Boom. The deep dark roasted MZ base lends itself well to the sweeter barrels here. This was a great sipper to end the long weekend and fantastic 6er.

I’m also super late posting but kept up drinking. Sorry for my lateness @mervmurry and thank you so much for all the great beers!

 

I should mention that one of the day 5 bottles was lost at a bbq. It will be represented in a post to follow shortly.

 

Day 4 was two delicious stouts from Jackie O’s. I had no idea Dark App Reserve was even a thing, but it was delicious!

 

Day 5 was two great Listermann beers. The PBJ beer was really excellent.

 

Better late than never as they say for posting my 12dox killshot.

@robgage took no mercy on me, and really broke my Voodoo cherry with some fantastic brews.

Looking forward to a great time in July at Good Vibes and some all Star handshake tics as well!!
