I get what your saying, but this how rumors are started. I haven't heard about d11 being infected, but the maybe the Op has his mind set on other top notch beers that he could get for a his 1 whale that he's been looking for. Might as well trade sooner than later, just in case the end of the world, just saying.
The truth is vanilla. I dont care for it as much as others. Really don't care for it at all , I'd rather have non adjunct or otherwise. I know a lot of ppl go crazy for vanilla.
I didn't say you were, but now he responded why he wants to trade it. But making assumptions does no one any good. Hopefully no thinks the beers I'm trading are infected just because I'm trading them. Cheers!
The origin and d5 weren’t infected. The rum barrels that they used weren’t the greatest when they got them, so they kept d5 Onsite only to avoid the issue of your so called infection to get out in the wild. Not that Untappd is the end all be all of beer ratings but d5 rates 4.82 with 900+ ratings, so I don’t see a lot of infection issues there. The origin is how many years old now? Not fair to judge a beer that’s that old and call it infected. I’ve had it twice in the last year and a half and it showed no signs of it. It was one of the most unique beers I have ever had to date.
i guess you just can’t believe people then because i’ve asked around at SP and received the “infected” response. for what it’s worth, i’ve had D5 on draft and it was top 5 stouts (maybe beers) i’ve ever had. thanks for the insight though. sorry this thread has gotten so jacked up OP..
