Local Food Coop is great for a good breakfast sandwich, and coffee/tea. Seed Savers main farm is also in the local area, I would highly suggest a visit for a bit of nature fill.

Also will be down in Decorah next weekend so here's hoping for good weather.

If any Dragon Fandango is on tap at TG, ask for a 50/50 mix with PseudoSue or King Sue on your pours. Can not recommend this highly enough.

Make sure to take note, Impact is not open on Sundays, meaning you won’t be able to count on them for coffee to get you started on your trip home. Definitely worth a stop, though!

For a nice dinner I suggest La Rana over Rubaiyat. Ede's Angry Pickle is a great lunch spot. If you are in town on Friday night I would strongly recommend Luna Valley Farm for pizza. They do the whole "pizza on the farm" thing as well as anyone. Dunning springs is a nice short hike that's just up the road from the old TG tap room, you can also walk over at the actual Pulpit Rock and along the river in the prarie grassland area.

Just brought a few 4 packs back from the brewery yesterday but haven’t opened one yet, later today so I’ll report back. Was very good on tap.

Agree took home a case last week from the brewery. It's tasting damn good, reminds me a-lot this year of Green from TH.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Spent a great weekend at Luna Farm, TG, Pulpit, Impact Coffee, Magpie, Rubaiyat and T-Bocks. Luna was definitely not something I would’ve known about without posting here and that was a super unique experience.

Glad you enjoyed Luna, we were just there yesterday for Mother's Day! The owner's are good friends of ours so it's always nice to hear people enjoying themselves.

    http://thebrewermagazine.com/16-12-discussing-smaller-can-formats/

"Iowa’s Toppling Goliath is looking at making the switch from larger format bottles and cans, said Executive Brewmaster Mike Saboe and founder Clark Lewey during a chat at the 2019 Craft Brewers Conference. Lewey said along with lab equipment and increasing quality across the board, part of the $2M internal capital investment goal is to have 12-ounce cans out by December"

“All these things that are happening behind the scenes at the brewery — these huge capital expenditures — these are things that are happening that we haven’t made a whole lot of noise about yet, but we’re about ready to do so.

That includes 12-packs of 12-ounce cans as well along with branching into other craft beverages after state laws were recently changed.:"

    So who's ready for 12 pack Sue's...?

That would actually make me buy Sue again. I'm not paying $10 for a 4 pack of a pale ale, but I would pay $15-17 for a 12 pack.

Hopefully the premium IPA's stay in 4-pack pounders. I like the format and likely would not buy 12 oz 6-packs as often...

There's a thread on here complaining about 16 oz cans, but I really like them. I'd be okay with a 6 pack of them, or a 12 pack of them. But I really like the 16 oz cans, and hope they don't go away completely.

Any thoughts on when to expect the MD release info? After the big 10 year party this weekend?

Been waiting on that. Betting after the party sometime next week. They set the date as 8/17 so usually they release ticket sale date about 6 weeks in advanced. Would expect either 7/2 or 7/9 at 1100 as they have a fascination with doing during a Tuesday at 11
