Good day BAs! It's starting out to be a beautiful day in sunny Pennsylvania - something I'll gladly take since I have to try to mow the mixed plant species that make up what I jokingly refer to as "My Yard". Today's New Breakfast Beer:

There's something about Taxman brews that just doesn't click with me, but I'll keep trying.

    Good afternoon!

Delirium Tremens... not sure what to make of this weekend yet. Probably not drinking heavily... I thought about ending my subscription to Netflix which is for the most part crap. The problem is regular tv channels are hardly more interesting...

I managed to merge both @SawDog505 and @Ozzylizard simultaneous WBAYDN threads without screwing up and deleting both.

    Thank you,
    Cheers

Have a nice Saturday BA. I have a huge ass site edit queue to clean up today. Been picking away at it over the last few days, but it keeps stacking up.

This is amazing. Flavors of huge caramel, brown sugar, maple syrup, toffee, bourbon, vanilla, coconut, toasted oak, golden raisin, plum, fig, apricot, cherry, red apple, and biscuit dough; with lighter notes of molasses, leather, herbal/grassy/peppery hops, and yeast earthiness. Similar aromas, a bit of booze as it warms, but not overwhelming. Light herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness; and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy/silky malts; some sticky hops, oak tannins; and light slickness in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/tannic dryness, no cloying/astringency. Dangerously smooth, mildly increasing warmth of 12.7%, minimal barrel booze. This is just as impressive as I remember the first batch. Amazingly rich malt complexity, balanced fruity yeast, and perfect barrel integration; with solid earthy hop balance against sweetness. I think this showcases the maple syrup character better than CBS, easily. Feels more prominent. Base beer is one of my favorite old ales, I hope they bring it back soon.

Amazing NEIPA as always. Flavors of huge grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pepper/pine hops; with wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, grassy, zesty, citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; very creamy, bready, grainy wheat/oats, and light hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very dank/juicy hops, with perfect wheat, oat, malt malt balance. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness, amazing soft feel. Super easy drinking. Glad to have this as a year round available beer. This is one of my top most purchased beers ever at the moment. It just doesn't get any better for the style vs availability. Every Old Nation NEIPA is better than most anything else I've had in the state. DDH is just as impressive; but a bit more bitter, resinous, dank, and earthy.

Fantastic as usual. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate honey, caramel, bread dough, toasted biscuit, light nutty malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; balanced creamy/bready malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no cloying/astringency. Very smooth, not aggressive, minimal warming 7.5%. Fantastic Nugget, Warrior, Columbus, Simcoe, Palisade profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balancing dark/Munich malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Revisited the review recently, should have done it sooner than I did.

One of the few Stone beers I enjoy.
More partial to their stout game rather than their IPA one.
Tasting great for a year old!
    Sweet and sticky.

Fantastic IPA. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate caramel, toasted bread malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky/resinous hops in the moufeel. Moderate increasing bitter/resin dryness, no hop astringency. Extremely drinkable, never overly aggressive. Outstanding juicy and fairy dank hop complexity; nice bready Munich malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. Classic Columbus, Centennial, Cascade, Ahtanum, and Amarillo hop bill. A top favorite when fresh.

Slightly and perfectly roasted dark malts, notes of chocolate with a black tea aspect and a huge dried, dark berry background. Smooth, clean, dry and crisp.
