Just dropped $ 1400 on a truck repair, time to drink away the blues. Stone Cloud Chug Norris Pale Ale, still drinking nicely

    16 oz can.
    Canned 05/09/19 in Waunakee, Wisconsin.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch white head over a slightly hazy light straw colored body with some lacing. Lacing and head are gone fairly quickly. Nose of citrus (orange, grapefruit) and slight pine. Taste mirrors nose very nicely with very little bitterness on the finish. Nice feel and overall, a pretty remarkable beer at only 3.2% abv. Wow! Cheers to Collective Arts for another excellent session IPA!

Delicious gose. Fantastic fluffy head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of juicy, fairly tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread, light bisciut/dough malts; with light peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. A bit muted aromas. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy wheat, lactic acid, fruit tang, and light salinity in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy dryness, zero puckering. Very flavorful/refreshing, not overly lactic/salty, not watery for 4.5%. Spot on style. Great balance between authentic juicy watermelons, and Lacto complexity; with a nice pale/wheat malt backbone for the ABV. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Finished off the pack.

It's a beautiful day when I can walk into my local spot and grab a couple packs of this at under 2 weeks old. Still one of the best hazies I've had, such a unique flavor profile..

After having 3 beers at Old Chicago, I'm back home having this old school beer after a frustrating day today.

Another new Big Lake NEIPA. This was excellent. Nice fluffy head retention/spotty foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and slight fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp finishing. Creamy/bready/grainy malts, some sticky/resinous/rindy hops, and light fruit tang/acids in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness; no hop/fruit astringency. Very smooth, pretty refreshing, zero warming 5.5%. Great Citra/Mosaic profile as expected. Very juicy/vibrant hops/fruit, with some dank/earthy notes; with a nice clean wheat/oat/malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with lingering crisp dryness. Another impressive variant on their house NEIPA.

I'm not saying we drank three 4-packs, btw. He's across the street with his wife, six cans of beer, and 10 month old.
