Well, finally here. Too many of y’all MFers on 95. What was a nice spring drive turned sour with an hour delay to go ~15 miles.

Speaking of sour, Strangeways was, in our recollection, an introduction to sour beers that spawned some interest.
First from my tray is Hey Brett, a Brett-fermented oak-aged lager. It’s pretty damn tasty, oak and restrained citrus/musty tartness.

Dr FouDre I is more herbal and cranberry tart with local wildflower honey. Biere de Garde yeast backed by wild yeast (local perhaps) give it a slightly cheesy aspect.

The others are Rappahannock ESB, @Lingenbrau ‘s worst fear, Escape Goat (Weizenbock), and Gallows Humor hoppy dark lager.

    Cheers, all!
