Fire him and the GM, let bowa take the reigns interim for the rest of the year. Not the long term solution but it would be interesting.

Happy Monday All..Starting with a NOLA It's Just Paperwork Man. Excellent citrusy ipa. NOLA's IPAs lately have been off the charts good and unique.

My first Lamplighter beer! I found this in NY. Are they distributing now?
This is a little over two months old. I wish it was a little fresher, but it still tastes good and I would buy it again. Hopefully I can find some other Lamplighter beers, too.

2013 vintage bottling. This was awesome. Fantastic fluffy head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy red/black cherries, fruit skin/pits, raisin, plum, prune, fig, date, currant, red grape/wine, citrus zest, dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, vanilla, cognac, brandy, toasted oak, nuts, biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of coconut, licorice, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, herbal, grass, pepper, pine, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, roast, char bitterness; cherry/cognac tang/tartness; and oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy, silky, bready, grainy malts; some sticky hops, cherry acid/tang, chalky roast, and oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/tart/tangy dryness. No cloying, pucker, acrid, astringent. Dangerously smooth sipping, mild increasing warmth of 10%, minimal lingering barrel booze. Fantastic balance of super juicy/jammy cherries, rich malts, and Cognac barrel presence/integration; with restrained fruity yeast, and earthy hops. Light residual sweetness with lingering bitter/tart/tangy dryness. Spot on Russian Imperial stout as expected. Held up extremely well for the age. 4.13

As promised, something darker and stronger. This is a beer I had planned for New Beer Sunday, but I accidentally grabbed the wrong bottle. Ah well; today is turning out to be New Beer Monday, it seems!

    Prairie Barrel Aged Birthday Bomb!

WOW-EEE! This gives me the kind of feeling for the Bomb! series that I haven't had since the original (in the wax days) - the only beer I would routinely trade for that wasn't a "new" beer for me. This one is that damn good.

My ratings may not reflect it (every beer review is a product of a very specific set of circumstances and time, naturally), but I think this thing is a step up from Birthday Bomb!, and in a wonderful, delicious way. Really impressive all around.

Considering this is about $4 cheaper than the Jackie O's/Evil Twin You're in the Jungle, Baby! I reviewed yesterday, all of a sudden the price doesn't seem that bad, as it's definitely delivering a similar experience (I have BBABB! rated 0.03 higher, actually, than YITJ,B! - oddly enough, both beers with exclamation points in their name).

Cheers, BAs; it's relatively early, so I won't guarantee this is it for the evening, but it may be my last post regardless. :grinning:

You can't fire people every time things don't go your way. That's an overreaction. Stay the course. Keep the faith, and don't lose sight of the long-term goal. Cheers.

Yo, @superspak, listen to that album I linked in my post above you. As a fellow fan of The Ocean, I think you would like Amenra.

I alternate between Centennial and Torpedo for my daily drinkers. This is the first four pack of Two Hearted I've bought since Centennial showed up in Maine in February/March.

I had that one time. Ordered it through Hopsy. My only order through Hopsy. Deliverd in a 32 oz Crowler cold to my front door. it is a fantastic stout for sure.

You can't go wrong with any of those choices. Torpedo is a excellent beer, I prefer the traditional Torpedo over the tropical version. Cheers!

Cheers BA’s. Not sure which was worse, this pour or trying to BBQ in the rain on a charcoal Webber.

I may be done after this. I’m pretty tired. This might be my favorite from these guys. Seriously good.

Pulled in by the can, but here's a beer that hazy-haters can rag on. It's hoppy but unoriginal. No notable positives - par for the course. Not a drain pour though so bottoms up!

Just like I predicted the storm parted just in time for sunset. Walking really does lift the spirits :sunglasses:. I really should do it more. Re-hydrating time. I didn't stop for donuts or fried chicken so this is my reward lol. Need to get in shape just watched that John Oliver show now I want to climb a mountain. Think it's time to watch more of that Jeff Ross toasts historical figures show
