Beer shop finds.

i'm in charge of beer shopping for a party. what's a good shop in far metro-west (between 128 & Worcester), that has a good mix of fresh beer & good prices (could either be generally low, or a mixed-case discount - like I think CBC WEstford has 10% case, but otherwise their prices are kinda high).

currently thinking OneStop in Littleton, or Wegmans? Colonial is good selection, and their 12-packs are fairly priced, but their 4-packs are a little on the higher end.

 

Julio's in Westborough is my go to if i'm in that area.

I like Bacon's in Hudson quite a bit. Not too far from Julio's. Julio's is also great.

Just picked up some relatively fresh Rothaus at Bacon's, which is great as usual, and Burlington Beer Co's Uncanny Valley. Think that was my first BBCo beer and it was quite tasty.

 

Mother in laws flight into Logan was delayed last night. I stopped into the red stone liquors in Stoneham . Walked out with a 3F A&G, Jackie O’s Oro Negro and The Bruery’s bakery coconut and macaroon stout.

Someone in a thread on the main board said he moved to the west coast. Our sass quotient is definitely suffering these days.

Picked up a sixer of Scrag Mountain Pils by the Lawson’s at MB in Waltham....awesome Czech style Pilsner and a great summer beer...and yes I miss Sweatshirts charm as well!

Also picked up some Voll Projekt Hefeweizen today at the brewery. Good stuff.

 

The pic is of Adam Devine from the show 'Workaholics'. The character is much more of a friendly, deeply stupid doofus than the snarky crank sweatshirt played, but the look on his face in the avatar somehow fit his posts perfectly.
