    It didn’t last very long. It started out much the same way in tone as last year’s, but the mods shut it down. It’s a shame because although I understood their point I think most of us disagreed that the posts were “nonsense” or “trolling” and that this thread a unique vibe. But, life goes on.

    Track 5 Coffee is right across the street. I haven’t been for years since it switched names from Rock N Joe, but I’m sure someone around here can opine.

    What kind of food?

    It’s in Downtown Cranford so a ton is in walking distance.

    I love Track 5. It's my go to for coffee on the way to work most mornings. They can get quite busy on weekends.

    Top 3 places I go for food in Cranford
    Emma's Brick Oven
    Cranford Hotel
    Thirsty Turtle

    The latter 2 have good beer selections, Emma's is byo

    Emma’s has fallen off. On the opposite corner is Old City Grill. That’s also BYOB and the food is excellent.

    This week is restaurant week, so most of the eateries in town are doing specials.

    It's nearly been 2 months, anyone been recently? their new "better than ever" Vermont IPA looked like it was chock full of caramel malt and oxidation.

    I was a couple doors down from them at the bike shop yesterday. Should have stopped in for a pint. How could I forget that they were right there.

    from reviews I have read there is a good pizza place right next door. That being said, a lot of their recent reviews have been very positive. I'll need to give them another try soon.

    sort by new on google/yelp. At least for general reviews. I have not combed through untappd or anything. Nevertheless I would still like to give them another try.

    Most of those reviews are by profiles with no icons/info and have less than 3 reviews. I don't trust them.

    A coworker lives in town and knows the owners pretty well. She claims they’re trying to make better beer. I found the claim amusing.

    No good reason to bring a friend there. If Untied still has their Baltic Porter on try it. Do the same with any Stout they may have.
