Just got back home from mowing grass at my parents house. Dad is 86 and has decided it's a bit more than he can handle these days. I'm glad he's finally letting me do it. Hit the convenience store on the way home for one of my favorite lawnmower beers...

    Cheers!

Eagle Park Brewing Needler courtesy of @Danmullens1 thanks my friend ! Cheers !

while it may not hit @GreenBayBA 's flavor profile for a NEIPA I like it!

1st heard this done by Doc Watson, this version may be even better.

Yep, still worthy...bottled first week April ( 092 9 - darn Julian dating) at Petaluma (1) and hops still present (100 IBU), but the attraction for me is the 11.7%...a lot of bang for $2/bottle...that’s some smooth IPA booze!

Congrats on your retirement! It took me a few months after I retired (probably because I got laid off and could not find a job) before I got my groove back. I would not change a thing.

Got any travel plans and/or a bunch of projects you let slide over the years? You do know Richmond, VA is the beer capital of the world. Plus just so much historical stuff. Give it some thought. I would be happy to take you around the local beer scene.

Juicy, bright, and citrusy as promised and only 4.9%, sooooo this one doesn’t count in my max two beers a day guideline.
    Cheers!

Finally cracking one of these...I Can Say My ABCs Backwards...a DIPA collab between Commonwealth and Civil Society. This is nice. Has a creamy citrus/melon thing going on. Unbelievably smooth for 8.7. Damn, why did I give 2 of these away? Delicious.

Hope everyone had a good Monday. Woke up a bit ill this morning, probably caught something hanging around kids at the Legoland/Aquarium over the weekend. Worked for 4 hours in the afternoon though. Got a good amount of work done.

This one from @SawDog505. Kettlehead milk stout. This was awesome. Dense black pour. Great rocky head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark/brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of licorice, molasses, raisin, fig, date, smoke, charcoal, wood, herbal, grass, pepper, pine, and yeast earthiness. Light pine, herbal, woody, grassy, peppery, roast/charred bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, bready lactose/oats; some stick hops and chalky char/roast in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no cloying/acrid/astringent. Very smooth, nicely soft, minimal warming 6%. Awesomely well rounded rich English malt/Lactose complexity; balancing earthy hops, and restrained fruity yeast. Spot on classic English style example all around. 4.1
