Choice Helles Lager is legit. Might be my favorite Pipeworks lager.

I enjoyed it. Thought the raspberry was coming through nicely. But overall I still prefer the regular

Finally tried Rainbow Sure Bet last night. It wasn't bad, but I felt that it was trying to do too much. The original Sure Bet is one of my favorite beers - this just had too much going on and its masked the best parts of Sure Bet.

I will say this - if they start canning the OG fish beers/Sure Bet in single 16 oz cans, I will happily grab one even at $6.99. it was so nice to crack that 16 oz can and have no trouble finishing it (as opposed to a bomber) on a weeknight. Just my .02.

sure bet is a fine beer, but for $7-8 a can?

the market has changed and you can't compare what you used to pay for it on a per ounce basis. as far as current IPA's go, it's a good yet overpriced option.

Sweet, Spotted Puffer is one of my favorite of the fish series--these see distro, right?

Went to Binny's today & they had the Helles Lager & Infinite Citra, but NOT the Imperial Hyper Dog.

Any one see it in the wild?

That's a good point. I don't think I'm seeing Imperial Hyper Dog cans at any of the few places I've been to this week. So, maybe that one didn't hit distro???

It may still be. It's listed on the Binny's site (along with canned Coconut Jones Dog) which I realize doesn't necessarily mean anything itself but perhaps it's just delayed a week or two.

    From the 7/3 PW email:
"Please note: Imperial Hyper Dog Milk Stout will NOT be released this Friday as previously posted. Sometimes dates are confusing..."

Infinite citra basically tastes like a higher quality zombie dust. Love it.

On to the next 16 oz can now. Choice Helles Lager is the best lager I’ve had in a long while. While I don’t appreciate the somewhat gimmicky fruit purée ipas PW has been pumping out, I so very much appreciate their emphasis on the classic styles like the dopple, Pilsner, lager, etc.

looks like im in the minority here. really enjoyed rainbow sure bet. i dont think the rasberry or lime finish is overpowering, still reminds me of OG just different.

I've been buying their fish beers since 2014, and they weren't a gimmick then. And at least for PW (imo of course), they arent a gimmick now.

I’m not talking about those, I’m talking about the new ipa they put our every month now either with guava purée or apricot purée, etc, like a real gem for example. And look how that floatie bomb turned out.

I read this right before drinking mine and got the Zombie Dust parallel. To me it was missing the ZD complexity when ZD is on. After it warmed up for a while it deviated from that goodness and wasn't anything special. Might be better in a week or two. Not a bad beer by any means, but Infinite Galaxy is special and this isn't on the same level to me.
