MT has nothing to do with the (now coming up on 2 years) delay, you can thank the city of Anaheim and our ridiculous beauracratic red tape for that bullshit.

 

Got 4 FO / 3 NC, with my girlfriend doing the same.

Now, I also recall posting on BL's instagram and Lindsay mentioned that FO volume didn't exactly go up, even if allocations did. Either way, We've got a bunch of this beer, and I'm looking forward to it.

RE: Modern Times, I also agree with the assessment they're a "sleeping giant". They've put out amazing barreled beers this year, so much so I wish I could get more of it.

 

Damn. That must explain it. Thought they went live at 12:15. FML! Oh well, and I agree MT > BL by a mile. They've really been killing it this year.

 

Gotta read those deets man! If there's anything I learned from MT League....it's that. LOL.

I'll take any "Strong Ale" from MT over BL, and I fucking LOVE BL strong ales. Sometimes I think I'm the only one.

Though, I will admit that I think non BA stouts at BL > MT.

 

Who cares? They're both great. Happy League member here who also happily maxes on nearly every BL sale. Best of both worlds.

 

Is there an MT thread here? I think there is, but I don't follow them as passionately. Have there been discussions about how they make, and barrel age, their stouts?

Maybe but, I’m not sure there’s a huge difference between standing in line for an hour or two for beer or sitting in traffic for an hour or two for beer. Excited for the Anaheim MT opening in the next decade or two though.

 

People are hella cheap, yo.
