    This is, of course, correct.

And the best NEIPA is going to be just about 7.5% abv and dry-hopped with Galaxy, with maybe a little Simcoe in there somewhere.

Speaking of which, why hasn’t the number of acres of Galaxy under cultivation better than quadrupled in order to keep pace with (my) demand?

No that never happens. By the way, everyone involved in making beer hates women and minorities.

I was 90 miles away from WiFi for the last three days in Denali Park or would have responded sooner. I considered that the locally grown ingredients may have played a part although the waitress wasn't knowledgeable enough to volunteer that bit of potential insight.

Almost all beers have a place... For example, Presidente will always be in my fridge during the summer because it brings great memories of family vacations past...

PS - Pumpkin beers are awesome

ABInBev/MillerCoors press releases should not be presented on this site in the Beer News and Releases Forum.

Hear me out: this says nothing to the expertise of their beermaking. When I see word-for-word posting of non-craft beer press release regarding a "Super Bowl Bud Light Super Cruise" that says absolutely nothing about the beer, I can't help but wonder why it's being posted here. There is absolutely zero beer advocacy involved with these marking pushes; it is marketing, pure and simple. These are companies that have a documented push to carve out market share from craft beer. Why is this site giving them free promotional space?

I may have issues with the Brewer's Association guidelines, at least they advocate for craft beer. As flat-footed as an "Independent Craft Beer Run" or the silly Independent icon are, the BA at it's core is advocating craft beer. What is AB promoting in that most recent thread? Overalls. Seriously. Last I checked, this isn't 80's-looking-floral-overalls Advocate. There is not a single mention of brewing, beer, or anything else regarding the beer itself.

This is a craft beer-centric site designed to advocate craft beer. If there's any place that I would think of that would make a point of not giving free publicity to the mass-market brewers, Beer Advocate would be it.

(Sorry if it's a little long-winded and a bit of a screed, but this has annoyed me for years)

Maybe his misspelling of crapft wasn't a misspelling at all, and he was just referring to Pfriem? I mean, it'd be clever at least. Still wrong, but clever.

Yep and I'll take it a step further. Modern Times is on fire right now. It started with that DDH MT5 release and it hasn't stopped since.

I woulda loved to have tried that one. Everything hoppy I've had from them recently has been pretty tops and that's just shelfies cause I've never even been to one of their locations. DDH MT5 seems to be the consensus winner so far though so I can only imagine

I'm picturing two women dressed in dirndls shouting "Mare-tsen" and "Mars-en" at each other but it's just not the same.

As is? No, it really wasn't. Unless flat semi-alcoholic Sprite is your jam.

Skittles or Jolly Rancher dropped into it... now we're talkin! (sarcasm)

Given the time, place, circumstances, and company my Presidentes may very well have been the best beers I've had.

I think it says a lot that so many people here are simply unable to engage with this topic in any kind of honest way.

I guess we need to define that, perhaps you wouldn't mind sharing your points of view with these questions?

And of course these are questions we all should answer to ourselves to focus our own feelings and observations of this issue.

    1. Do you feel the craft beer industry has more of a racial/gender problem than America in general?

    2. Do you feel the craft beer industry should have less of a racial/gender problem than the rest of America?

    3. (If answer to 2 is yes) Why?

    4. Do you feel that problems in the craft beer industry with race/gender can be fixed without fixing these problems in general in this country?

    5. Will fixing these problems in general in this country fix the problems in the craft industry without need to focus specifically on inequities in the craft beer industry?
