Wish you could just buy the regular. The variants sound like something I’d get sick of in 2 oz.

Is anyone available to pick up a set if I get lucky enough to get one? PM me if interested and I can put a name on it.

Do people not know how to or just not read to completion anymore. Jeez. How many sets are going to be bought and not picked up.

If that previous post is trolling then the jokes on me.

They read the rules and know that the pick up is at Yale Terrace, right?

Technically not really true. As long as the name and birth date on the order matches the name and birth date on the ID of the person picking it up, you are good to go. (Unless anything has changed since the last Eventbrite event.)

That said, I'll be sitting this one out but good luck to all.

One individual ordering and then designating another as their proxy is not allowed. What you're describing isn't a proxy, unless I'm misunderstanding. And it's not what was described in the comment I replied to.

I guess it depends on your definition of a proxy. But the bottom line is someone in California can order a set and pay with their own credit card, but then put the name and birth date of someone they know in NJ on the order and that person in NJ can pick it up. Isn't that essentially what a proxy is? Only difference is you're designating who the proxy is when you place the order. That's why I always wondered why they didn't require the name on the credit card also match the name of the person picking up. Although I suppose there would also be an easy way around that by just using the "proxy's" credit card.

No, they can't. My understanding is that name at the time of purchase must be the name picking up.

Does it let you specify a different name on the ticket than payment information? Its been a while since I've done one of these but I don't think that's allowed?

It does which is what I don't get. You can make an eventbrite account and switch the name to whoever is picking it up for you. From what I understand Kane doesnt see who's name is on the credit card...
