    Well ahead of the enjoy by date, this brew clearly spent some time on a warm shelf instead of the cooler. Still a nice change up, I suppose, but decidedly a disappointment.

    Another Kettlehead from @SawDog505. Excellent NEIPA. Great rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, coconut, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with balanced wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready/grainy malts, some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no cloying/astringency. Very smooth/soft, not aggressive, no warmth of 7.5%. Awesome Galaxy, Cashmere profile. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a great balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Spot on stuff. 4

    I love when I hear or read other brewers say that Head Hunter is the quintessential American IPA. Who you tellin? But on that note... can I get a witness? Amen, Hunter.
