I figured the old Block 15 thread would be locked, but apparently it has been deleted? I'm getting zero search results. Unfortunate, but frankly not surprising. Anyway, here's your thread for talking about Block 15 for the next 336 days. I haven't seen any chatter around here about Winter Amusement, the seasonal collab between B15 & de Garde. Early reports are about what I expected. Which is to say, awesome.
This looks like a fantastic weeklong event at Saraveza. http://www.saraveza.com/site/events...o-month-release-bnhzf-ygerw-p35sb-ekg3j-xcd62
Went to the Block 15 “event” at Saraveza. Breakfast with Roses was on tap and they had bottles. Very very tasty. Also had a double chocolate with hazelnuts variant that was also awesome. Lots of Dab Lab juice joint cans available as well. Good stuff to help me get through the “snowpocalypse” *eye roll
Stopped by tonight and Breakfast with Roses was really really damn good and noticably different from the base version. The Kriek was also quite good.
Yeah I’ve made it a point to hunt out the “breakfast” variants for the past 4-5 years. I find them WAY better than regular super neb (which is already a good beer)
is this the Block 15 thread? well, either way. stopped in the downtown pub yesterday. grabbed a 4 pack of Sticky Hands "man on the moon" which is a variant with hop extracts. never heard anything about it and not sure if it saw distro. will report back on how it tastes
Looks like Arch Bridge moved all their cans but will have it on tap Monday. nw growlers has cans for sale. Haven’t cracked a can yet so don’t know how much trouble it’s worth. But hey, it’s a Block 15 sticky hands variant so I would say odds are pretty good that it rocks
Wanted to chime in and echo the sentiment previously established - Man on the Moon is now firmly one of my favorite beers of 2019.
