Have a nice Sunday BA. Have quite a bit to do today.

2017 is tasting insane! Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, vanilla, bourbon, nuts, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coconut, licorice, molasses, raisin, prune, cherry, fig, date, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, herbal, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Slight booze in the aromas as it warms. Mild herbal, roast, char bitterness; and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body. Very creamy, silky, velvety, rich mouthfeel. Light slickness, sticky hops, chalky char/roast, oak tannins, and increasing dryness. No cloying, acrid flavors. Mildly increasing warmth of 14.7%, no barrel booze. Dangerously smooth sipping. Wow, this has definitely improved, especially on mouthfeel. Perfectly silky. Glad I still have a few left.

Amazing as usual this year. Aromas and flavors of huge juicy/lightly tart/tangy strawberries, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit, white bread dough, light honey malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, grassy, citrus peel bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very smooth and creamy/bready/grainy wheat/oat mouthfeel; light sticky hops and acidity. Slightly increasing lingering bitter/tart dryness. Amazing soft spot on mouthfeel for the style. Super drinkable for 6.8%. Super juicy/lightly dank hops with awesome balance of strawberry flavorings. Perfect wheat/oat/malt balance, and not overly sweet/heavy for the style. Can't say I prefer it over the base beer. Equally amazing spot on NEIPA. Hope they package some other variations eventually. Base M-43 is my top most purchased beer right now.

Outstanding blonde ale. Aromas and flavors of big lemon, orange, honey, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit malts; with lighter notes of peach, pear, melon, red apple, herbal, floral, wood, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Creamy, bready, grainy malts/honey; some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness; no cloying/astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, not watery for 5%. Awesome balance between clean/nicely rich pale malts and citrus/floral honey complexity; with solid earthy Nugget hop presence/balance, and restrained fruity yeast. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. One of the best standard American blondes I've had in a long time. Would get another pack this summer.

    **July 20, 2019 - 4 4+ jersey shore beers**
    **3 Live Cru Barrel-aged Blend | Flying Fish 4.2/5 rDev 0%**
    look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25
    Thrilled to be first review!
At Flying Fish a special seasonal tripel, is delicious treat, and represents why I visit brewers.
    a) Dark amber body, mostly clear, with lingering, pearling, lacing head.
    s) Ton of lumber, both fresh sawn and bourbon laced, with wild yeast.
    t) Follows smell but adds complex caramel, butter, toffee, that's tempered with pepper against the sweet storm.
    f) Thicker feel, candied without cloying.
    o) I'd buy more of this. Try 24.

**Sophisticated Lady | Cape May 4.05/5 rDev +13.4%**
    look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25
I rate this higher than Ba-ers. Thrilled to be first review.
    a) A spring saison look.
    s) Fresh, lemony, rare smell.
    t) Tuned lemon, saison, yeast & pilsner to perfection.
    o) Saison is strong suit for Cape May - the fresh ingredients matter.

    **Salt & Sea | Flying Fish 4.04/5 rDev +2%**
    look: 3.5 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4
If anyone is going to get a salty gose right, it's a shore brewer, might as well be FF on Jersey Shore (or close 2nd, Carton Digger)
    a) Lofts a big white head over a slightly hazed golden body, but it's lost quickly due to salt and fruit additions.
    s) Strawberry, lime, salt air. (a bit too much strawberry for me)
    t) Follows aroma with bigger punch than its light ABV - great food beer! In this case with diced chicken breast over home grown salad of mint, basil, cilantro, first tomatoes with pickles, garlic, grapes. Yummm.
    f) Bright, fruity, crisp.
    o) As good a salad, cold protein, seafood beer as it comes in summer.

    **blue milk | Carton 4/5 rDev 0%**
    look: 4 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 4
pleased to add, taste and review.... imperial blue pale ale - wheat and lactose base - low ibu.
a - true to blue milk , blue no 1.
    s - solid apa aroma
t - out of this world with the fruit dominant among the varied hops
f - thinnish and cannot help but think of sky blue ice pops thinning further.
    o - good once.
Blue milk, also known as Bantha milk, was a rich blue-colored milk produced by female banthas. Sentients drank it, and also used it in ice cream, butter and yogurt. It was notably available on Outer Rim planets such as Tatooine Lothal, and Lah'mu.

Awesome IPA. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, black tea, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, toasted bread, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, no warmth of 7%. Awesome Idaho 7 showcase as expected. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great clean bready malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. Another great addition to the hero series as usual.

A little past 7am and the fog is starting to lift...should be another fantastic day in the golden state. Morning chores done including 2 dog walks in the neighborhood - FW’s “Helldorado” (2017):

Not as sweet/malt forward as other barley wine ales I’ve had from FW, with a definite hop presence. Working on my NBS notes...Cheers and have a great Sunday!
