    Yet another guess. The beer is a Castelain from tap. Nice beer from the north of France made with hops from Flanders. Had Castelainjust once.
    I think this picture was somewhere between Dieppe (France) and Oostende (Belgium, adding countries for our international viewers).

    Continuing my SoPro roll . . .

    Light hazy gold, bountiful white cap with good lacing.

    Aroma of citrus hops first, rather dense hop aroma giving off notes of grapefruit zest, lemon oil, woodsy, earthy and a brightness that seems spicy but really isn't spicy. Good depth to the hops but little malt apparent.

    Malt contributes mostly to the body and as a carrier for the hops which it does rather well serving as a launch platform rather than substantially contributing to the flavor. Good integration of taste sensations here, fairly complex. No alcohol apparent, clean finish with lingering hop aftertaste.

    Light yellow body; very lively carbonation; very little head retention, pours with a very quick, one-finger thick and fizzy head that disappears in about five seconds with a very thin ring of foam appearing a few minutes later around the glass. Excellent wild ale and sour aroma; a bit vinegary with very ripe fruit notes; grapes. The taste follows along the lines of the smell; tart and tangy; white wine; lime. Medium body; tart and acidic; coarse on the palate.

    A very fine wild ale, hitting most of the notes one would expect within the taste and aroma departments.
