Hazy Hootie in a new thrifted Faxe Danish glass....it is me, or does that sound weird?

 

It is a good brewery, that just opened a taproom close to where I work, so getting cans is easy!

The Substance

 

Do not have them take out the 25% ! A money guy like you should use hose $'s and earn more. Pay the later if you must.Or, better yet funnel those $s to a qualified organization of your choice. I'll be dealing w RMD on my next return and that is what I plan to do.

Maybe Veil will have something aged in Bourbon Barrels, that could be torture tho !

But now that the taproom is closer to civilization, I can sample all their beers. Last week nothing out of the ordinary, we shall see this week.

 

It was my choice to have 25% withheld otherwise I would have a big tax bill when I file. Of course, I could invest the money and pay the tax due later but that is too much of a hassle. And the amount I would earn in conservative investments would be a pittance so why bother.

I do not have RMD for another 3 years but I do withdraw a small steady stream of income for living expenses. I contribute a lot to several charities but since I no longer itemize, there is no tax benefit. Not that it makes a difference.

As tempting as a bourbon barrel stout sounds, I have plenty at the house I got as trades, gifts, and my own purchases. I am aging some of them.
